The former Pakistan veteran fast bowler Waqar Younis has tussled with the Indian fans and followers over the manifestation of miss out of Shaheen Afridi in the upcoming Asia Cup tournament for Pakistan. The prime left arm pacer of Pakistan Shaheen Afridi is going to miss out the whole tournament for the side due to serious injury which has forced him to take rest for at least 4-6 weeks as per the Pakistan cricket boards update about him.
In the recently concluded edition of T20 World Cup 2021, Shaheen Afridi has knocked out the top order of Indian batting line up which has resulted in the defeat of Indian team against Pakistan in the first match of the tournament. The 21-year old has been renowned in world cricket for his brisk pace along with sharp line and lengths which can prove lethal for any wizard batsman of international cricket.
For India, his contemporary Jasprit Bumrah is also not there to serve the Indian side due to the injury which he recently produced in the limited over series against England. On the occasion of Shahid Afridi’s missed out for Pakistan team, Waqar Younis has engaged in banter with Indian cricketers and followers by manifesting that Afridi’s miss out is a big relief for especially the top order batsman of India.

Waqar Younis seemed to copy the style of Irfan Pathan as on yesterday Pathan also tweeted a similar kind of post in which he said that the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel is a big relief for Pakistan and other teams.
