Shoaib Malik Breaks Silence On Divorce Speculations With Wife Sania Mirza

Shoaib Malik, Pakistan’s great cricketer, has finally spoken out about reports of his divorce from wife Sania Mirza. All of the rumours regarding Shoaib and Sania splitting up have been debunked, according to Shoaib. He even asked those spreading the accusations to show him a pair from around the world who did not argue.

The celebrity couple married in 2013 and have a son named Izhan Mirza-Malik. Some people speculated in December 2022 that things were not going well between Sania and Shoaib after some incidents hinted that a problem was developing between the couple.

“When they [Sania and Izhan] went to perform Umrah I had commitments here and when I took a break and went to Dubai to spend time with Izhan, she [Sania] had commitments in IPL,” informed Malik on Geo News about missing his son’s birthday while Sania and him were on vacation.

After Shoaib missed his son’s birthday, fans tried to piece together what happened. The pair, who are very active on social media, even stopped posting photographs and messages on the internet for each other.

“Everybody needs to understand we belong to different countries and have our own commitments,” he added.

Shoaib added that they don’t pay much attention to news about them, which is why he didn’t make a statement earlier on the subject.

“This is way neither I released a statement nor did she,” he added.

In 2010, Shoaib fell in love with Indian tennis player Sania Mirza. To everyone’s surprise, the couple married after dating for some time. For the first time, two huge superstars from across the border decided to marry.
