On Monday, a thrilling match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2023 match number 34 saw DC take the decisive edge with some magnificent death bowling. The low-scoring game gave SRH even more grounds to bemoan their batting difficulties. While the teams were competing on the field, a courteous moment between David Warner and Bhuvneshwar Kumar occurred before the game, leaving the audience stunned.
David Warner has only represented two organisations in his long IPL career. The Australian began his career in the coveted league with the Delhi Daredevils in 2009, and after five seasons with the team, the powerful batsman was selected by Sunrisers Hyderabad. With Delhi, he established himself as a key player with Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, but with SRH, he rose up the ranks as a leader.
Warner’s time with SRH ended in a negative note, but the athlete seemed to have no concerns with his ex-teammates. The player, now back in Delhi, returned to the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium as captain of the opposition squad.

The battle between Warner and SRH was hyped up by fans and analysts alike, but some serious scenes emerged ahead of the game. The official Twitter handle of the Indian Premier League has uploaded a video demonstrating that there is no love lost between the former SRH captain and the guy who was previously his go-to bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar. David Warner greeted Bhuvneshwar Kumar by placing his hand on his foot. After that, the two players hugged. Here’s what went down on the ground.

In terms of how both players performed in the SRH versus DC match, David Warner had an awful night as a batsman but rallied his men to perfection on the pitch. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, on the other hand, was outstanding, bowling the most economical period of the IPL 2023. Kumar completed with four overs, eleven runs, and two wickets.
