IPL 2023: Virat Kohli becomes the first player in IPL history to complete hundred “30+ score”

Virat Kohli has been the first player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) to complete a century with “30+ scores.” Kohli reached this milestone while batting alongside Faf du Plessis for the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Punjab Kings.

Kohli and du Plessis have established a solid opening partnership, scoring over 90 runs and averaging 10 runs per over. While du Plessis approaches his fifty, Kohli has been patient, anchoring the batting and keeping the scoreboard ticking with his hallmark strokes.

The Punjab Kings vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore match is underway at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali. Batting first, the visitors got off to another fast start, with Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli stitching another century run stand at the top of the order.

Faf got his fourth fifty of the season. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli wrote history and created a big milestone with his knock against the Punjab Kings.

Virat, who also got his fourth fifty of the season, became the first player in IPL history to score 100 ’30+ scores’. Kohli outperformed Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner, and Rohit Sharma.

The 34-year-old just became the first Indian and second overall to complete 50 ‘fifty-plus scores’.
