Watch: Virat Kohli Shares Adorable Poolside Picture With Daughter Vamika

Virat Kohli, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore and Team India captain, posted a lovely picture of himself and his daughter Vamika on Instagram. The candid photograph showed the father-daughter pair spending precious time together by a swimming pool. Although their faces were obscured, Virat was seen wearing blue swimwear and a beige headgear while hugging Vamika, who was dressed in an aqua blue and pink swimsuit. The picture was inundated with comments from followers who were overjoyed to see the adorable father-daughter duo.

Anushka Sharma, Virat’s wife and Vamika’s mother, was recently seen cheering for him at an India Premier League (IPL) match between RCB and LSG in Bengaluru. Lucknow grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat by defeating RCB on the last ball.

After the game, LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir was spotted on video celebrating loudly after the game. He could be seen yelling animatedly before high-fiving his LSG colleagues. Gambhir then headed to the centre of the pitch, where players from both teams were lined up to shake hands. As he saw RCB icon Virat Kohli, the two shared a firm handshake and a short gaze, with Gambhir still looking motivated. He then made the “finger on the lips” motion to quiet the Chinnaswamy throng.

It was not the first time Gambhir’s celebration went viral on social media. A similar thing from him following a last-ball triumph against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2022 became viral on the internet. Notwithstanding their on-field rivalry, the two Delhi youngsters have enormous respect for each other, as seen by their loving embrace after the heated match at Chinnaswamy Stadium. LSG’s official social media handles published images of a calm Gambhir hugging and conversing with Kohli, which left supporters stunned and dubbing it a “miracle.”
