Gautam Gambhir, the former India cricketer, is a guy of few words. What’s more intriguing is that Gambhir has less expressions than words. But a nail-biting drama between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) boosted him up when the outcome favoured KL Rahul’s team. Following the triumph, Gambhir was seen silencing the M Chinnaswamy Stadium crowd. Nobody expected the Lucknow Super Giants to recover from losing three crucial wickets in the powerplay.
Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran, on the other hand, were in a different mindset and on the correct track, going all guns blazing against the RCB bowling attack and hitting two carnage-mode fifties.

During his playing days, Gambhir was never hesitant about expressing his aggressiveness and joy at winning an exciting battle, and he displayed the same level of emotion when LSG defeated RCB at home.
The contest came down to the very final ball. After the dramatic triumph, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi, as well as skipper KL Rahul, were seen celebrating. The outrageous celebration Gambhir, who is presently the coach of the Lucknow Super Giants, left Twitter speechless.
On Monday, Du Plessis reached 300 sixes in T20 cricket. The 38-year-old struggled at first but scored quickly in the second half of the game. He finished with an undefeated 79 off 46 balls, including five fours and five sixes. After these five sixes, he now has 301 sixes in T20s.
The RCB skipper was also fined Rs 12 lakh, the first sanction for the IPL 2023 season, for continuing to sustain a sluggish over-rate.
“As it was the team’s first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, captain Faf du Plessis was fined Rs 12 lakhs,” a statement released by BCCI said.
