The Fortune Barishal team first played in 2012 and now has a place in history as the runners-up in their league. In both 2013 and 2016, the club was in second place. In 2016, they finished the season with a good enough record to play in the playoffs. Fortune Barishal is a Twenty20 cricket team that plays in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The Bangladesh Cricket Board runs the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the country’s best Twenty20 cricket league (BCB).
In Bangladesh, the city of Barisal has a team in the BPL called Fortune Barisal. They have never won the British Premier League. They are known for always having famous Twenty20 Cricket players on their team, but they have never won a World T20. Fortune Barishal is one of the best cricket teams in Bangladesh, so every season, it has a lot of fans.
The team’s first season in the league was in 2012 when it was called the Barisal Burners. He joined the Barisal Bulls organization for real in 2015, but he is now known as Fortune Barishal. Fortune Group has decided to call the team it sponsors Fortune Barishal for marketing reasons. None of the team members in this tournament has yet to win a game. But they will be back in the league after the 2016 season.

Because they missed more games in 2017, 2019, and 2020, their absence was more obvious. The Fortune Barishal have finished second in both seasons, even though they still need to score a goal.

Fortune Barishal Achievements:
- Fortune Barishal scored the most runs in BPL history against the Sylhet Sunrisers. It happened at game 24 of the 2022 season at Sylhet Stadium. Fortune Barishal’s score goes up to a very good 199/4. Sylhet also did his best to answer. Sylhet scored 187/6, but they lost their match by 12 runs.
- In 2022, Fortune Barishal beat Comilla Victorians with another best score. 155/5 in 20 overs. While trying to score, Comilla lost wickets. After 20 overs and 123/9, they lost by 32 runs.
- The speed and swing of Chris Gayle, Mahmudullah Riyad, Brendan Taylor, Mohammad Sami, and Al-Amin Hossain helped the Bulls make the playoffs in 2015. In the Eliminator, they beat the Dhaka Dynamites by 18 runs, and in the second qualifier, they won over the Rangpur Riders by five wickets. This got them to the finals. The Comilla Victorians beat them in the final by three wickets, so they came in second.
