RCB joined MI, CSK elite list

Royal Challengers Bangalore now officially became a third team to defend their title. Before RCB, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have won the consecutive IPL title. In 2010 and 2011 CSK became the first team to defend the IPL title. In 2019 and 2020 Mumbai Indians under Rohit Sharma became the second team to defend the IPL trophy and now, RCB under Rajat Patidar became the third team in the history of IPL to defend the title.

Virat Kohli hit the fastest IPL half century and he completed the remarkable milestone of his IPL career. Also, King Kohli became the first Indian to achieve the Most Player of the Tournament Award in the history of Indian Premier league. Now, Kohli holds 21 POTM awards.  Also against the Gujarat titans he hit 4th fifty in T20 tournaments final and became a first player to do so.

Virat Kohli has been incredible this season, he ended his season on number 4 spot in orange cap list. Out of 16 innings he played with the batting average of 57.90 and strike rate of 165.90 with help of 5 half-centuries and one century overall he scored 675 runs and his best score was 105 runs.
