Highest Scorers For RR: The Rajasthan Royals (RR), one of the original franchises from the Indian Premier League (IPL), has had numerous great batsmen, many of whom were instrumental in developing the team’s overall success. Many of them put forth incredible performances to help RR win games and become part of the history of the IPL.

Leading the pack of players who have topped the scorecard for RR is Sanju Samson, a player who has become synonymous with the team over the years.

After making his IPL debut in 2013, the player has gone on to become one of the most dependable players for the team. Over 149 matches played in 144 innings, the player has managed to score 4,027 runs at an average of 31.70 and a strike rate of 141.24.

His stats also feature 2 centuries and 23 half-centuries, with his highest score being 119. However, the player is no longer a part of the team and is expected to be part of Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming season.

Jos Buttler – 3,055 Runs

Jos Buttler holds the second position for the highest run getters for RR, courtesy of his batting achievements. During the period of 2018-2024, Jos Buttler scored 3055 runs for the team, playing a total of 83 games (82 innings).

The average he maintained throughout this period was 41.84, coupled with a strike rate of 147.79. In the games he played, he hit 7 centuries and 18 half-centuries, including a highest of 124.

He is known for his aggressive batting style, as he also managed to hit 305 fours and 135 sixes. Currently, he is expected to play for the Gujarat Titans, thereby bringing an end to his impactful journey with RR.

Ajinkya Rahane – 2,810 Runs

Ajinkya Rahane stands third in the list of top scorers for RR, as he was an integral part of the team’s batting lineup over the years. He played for the Rajasthan Royals team from 2011 to 2019 and accumulated 2,810 runs in 100 matches (93 innings).

Rahane’s average was 34.26 with a strike rate of 122.65, including 2 centuries and 17 half-centuries in his career so far.  His top score was an unbeaten 105. Presently, Rahane is linked with Kolkata Knight Riders, continuing his IPL career with another team.

Shane Watson – 2,372 Runs

Another former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson is currently ranked fourth highest in terms of RR run-scorers and is widely regarded as one of the most vibrant players of the franchise.

Watson played for RR starting in 2008, which was the very first season, until 2015 he has amassed 2,372 runs in 78 games, or 76 innings, while averaging 36.49 and striking at 141.27 through the course of his career for the franchise.

He registered 2 centuries and 14 half-centuries, with an overall top score of 104 not out from 11 occasions where he finished ”not out”, displaying his ability and performance level during his time with, and or during his career with the IPL.
