The flavour of the auction were all-rounders with them fetching two of the top five highest bids. The all-rounder that attracted the highest bid was James Coles, who was followed by Tom Curran.

Adil Rashid was the only specialist bowler in the list of the top five most expensive buys in the auction, with Heinrich Klaasen and Joe Root taking the next two slots.

Jordan Cox surprised many folks when he was picked up by the Welsh Fire at an amount that he wasn’t expected to get.
