The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the India U19 team for the IND vs ENG 2025 tour, due to take place between June 24 and July 23, 2025. The tour will feature a 50-over warm-up game, a five-match Youth One-Day series, and two multi-day games in England.

Emerging star Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was in the news during the IPL 2025, has been given a richly deserved India U19 call-up. The young batman represented the Rajasthan Royals, where he impressed with 252 runs in seven games at a stunning strike rate of 206.56, including a record-breaking ton against the Gujarat Titans. His 18 fours and 24 sixes-filled innings made him one of the most explosive players in the tournament.
Ayush Mhatre appointed as Captain; Abhigyan Kundu as Vice-Captain
Ayush Mhatre, who displayed steady form while playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025, has been made captain of the India U19 team. Mhatre took over from injured Ruturaj Gaikwad during the season and impressed with 206 runs from six games, a best score of 94, 28 fours, and 8 sixes. Abhigyan Kundu has been made vice-captain and wicketkeeper of the tour.
