
IPL 2025: In the GT vs DC match, Gujarat Titans defeated Delhi Capitals by seven wickets. Delhi batted first and lost Abishek Porel early, who scored 18 runs. Then, Karun Nair (31) and KL Rahul (28) added 35 runs together, helping the team score well during the powerplay.
After they got out, captain Axar Patel (39) and Tristan Stubbs (31) kept the scoreboard moving with a 53-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Toward the end, Ashutosh Sharma played a quick knock of 37 runs, helping Delhi reach a total of 203 for eight. For Gujarat, Prasidh Krishna was the standout bowler, taking four wickets.
GT vs DC Match:
Gujarat Titans had a rough start to their innings as captain Shubman Gill got run out early. But then, Sai Sudharsan (36) and Jos Buttler (97*) built a strong 60-run partnership, putting pressure on the Delhi Capitals’ bowlers.
Buttler continued to play brilliantly and was well-supported by Sherfane Rutherford, who scored 43. Together, they added 119 runs for the third wicket. With just 10 runs needed in the final over, Rahul Tewatia hit a six and a four to finish the match with four balls left.
RR vs LSG Match:
Lucknow Super Giants pulled off a thrilling win against Rajasthan Royals, winning by just two runs. Batting first, LSG didn’t get a great start and lost key players Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran early.
Rishabh Pant also got out soon, and LSG were struggling at 54 for 3. But Aiden Markram (66) and Ayush Badoni (50) turned things around with a 76-run partnership. In the end, Abdul Samad hit a quick 30* to help LSG reach 180 for 5.
Rajasthan Royals opened with 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi (34) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (74), and both batted aggressively to give their team a great start. They added 85 runs for the first wicket.
After Suryavanshi got out, Jaiswal and stand-in captain Riyan Parag (39) added another 62 runs to bring RR close to the target. But LSG bounced back with quick wickets, and it all came down to the last over. Rajasthan needed 9 runs, but Avesh Khan bowled brilliantly to stop them, helping LSG win the match.
