The right-hand batsman of Mumbai Indians and Indian team Suryakumar Yadav becomes 5th Indian batsman to cross the mark of 8000 runs in the T20 format. Not only did he play an extraordinary knock on 31st March in Wankhade Stadium against Kolkata Knight Riders but also crossed this mark and got himself registered among the big heroes of India.
In the MI vs KKR IPL 2025 match, Ashwani Kumar portrayed an exceptional performance by taking 4 wickets in his 4 overs and restricting the KKR to just 116 runs which was the lowest total score of this season as of 31st March.
Mumbai Indians took 12.5 overs to chase the target with the help of Ryan Rickeleton’s 62-run knock and Suryakumar’s explosive 27-run knock. Ashwani won the player of the match for his stellar performance of a four-wicket haul.
