The fans gear up for another major battle between Australia and England on 28th October at Melbourne Cricket Ground for the T20 World Cup. Both the teams are considered as two big competitors of the tournament and matches between them have different fan bases.
Team of England
The team made an excellent start to the tournament, defeating Afghanistan in their first match. But, somehow failed to retain their form in the next match against Ireland. Though the match was interrupted by rain, Ireland still managed to be on the winning side from the beginning of the match. Out of their bowling unit, it was Liam Livingstone who showcased to be the most successful one, by picking 3 wickets in just three overs against 17 runs.
Also, Mark Wood picked up three wickets, but he was charged for 34 runs in four overs. Along with them, Sam Curran was the other expensive bowler, who could pick up two wickets in three overs against 31 runs. Following them, Ben Stokes was the other bowler with a wicket to his name in just 2.2 overs against just 8 runs.
Moreover, their batsmen were reported to be in a weak form during the initial overs, as they lost their two key wickets in just 14 runs. Another player, Harry Brook scored 18 runs while facing 21 balls. And Moeen Ali scored 24 runs on just 12 balls and was successful in smashing three boundaries and one huge six.

Predicted Speculations
As per reports, Australia and England encountered a competition on 23 T20 matches in the past. Among those matches, Australia won 10 matches, while England managed to come out victorious in 11 matches. The rest of the matches came out with no results.
Based on their performances, the chance of winning this game is more likely in favour of Australia. This is because Australia has been playing well and as well won their previous match against Sri Lanka. Moreover, they might have more supporters compared to England, as the venue scheduled for the match is their home ground.
However, one must not ignore the fact that the England team were successful in registering a greater number of victories against Australia in the T20 World Cup format. Also, after their recent defeat they are expected to bounce back and provide a tough competition to the Australians. With renowned competitors playing against each other, the match is likely to be an exciting and interesting one.
