In his first presser as BCCI president, he set the agenda very straight. Binny wanted to revive the standards of domestic cricket. Roger Binny has a few tasks lined up
The 67-year-old cricketer said his immediate agenda is to make the crowd return to watch domestic matches. Another key aspect in front of the former Karnataka cricketer is the India-Pakistan cricket ties. BCCI secretary categorically stated India will not travel to Pakistan. The Men in Green Cricket Board has unofficially threatened to boycott the 2023 World Cup in India. However, it remains to be seen how the BCCI would approach this issue. It is likely they will insist on a neutral venue and Pakistan may have to mend ways, because BCCI is more powerful in the ICC.
BCCI is a colossal force
The network of BCCI is over 18000 crore in the last financial year. They are the richest cricket body in international cricket. BCCI is a power block on its own with its financial strength.
