As the T20 World Cup is majorly the game of a batter and gives the batsmen a free hand to hit the ball out of the stadium, there are several boundaries and scores that are taken by the batsmen in the limited number of overs. The batter is often seen to go after the bowler and try to score as many runs as possible. The bowlers are most of the times feeling the pressure from the team and the batters. On bad days, the bowlers might give a lot of runs to the batters and lose their rhythm.

Majority of the Indians love this moment and see it as the most iconic of them all in the diverse international cricket streams that they have witnessed. There are several important moments, but this was one of the best. In the 2007 World Cup, India was losing when Yuvraj Singh was sent to the crease. Although he wasn’t performing very well but when Flintoff said something, Singh was enraged, and this led to six sixes in one over and led to India crossing the 200 run mark. It was the most expensive over that was ever played.

Izatullah Dawlatzai (32 runs) against England in the 2012 T20 World Cup

It was the 6th match of the 2012 world cup match. England batter Bairstow scored 32 runs in the 19th over against Dawlatzai and caused the game to record the second most expensive over that was ever dealt in the World Cup. This bowler was the second one who gave the most runs in one over and Afghanistan was literally shocked as it was not expected by the players.

Bilawal Bhatti (30 runs) against Australia in the 2014 T20 World Cup

The match was between Australia and Pakistan. It was the 16th match of the World Cup and Pakistan put up a good score. It was Australia’s turn to chase it down. Although Australia lost two wickets early, but Maxwell and Finch had an excellent partnership and scored 118 for the team collectively. In the 8th over, Maxwell tore Bhatti apart and helped the team win the match at the end.
