ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: 3 players to score most runs in today’s New Zealand vs Bangladesh match

New Zealand and Bangladesh players will alight in Chennai’s adventurous surface to gain two points for their team and it will be interesting to see how batters will go for the runs in one of the toughest grounds for batters.

New Zealand and Bangladesh will face each other today at MA Chidambaram stadium Chennai. New Zealand is looking strong in this tournament even without their captain and star batter Kane Williamson New Zealand has won their first two games, in one of them kiwis beat defending champions with 9 wickets. On the other hand, Bangladesh has 2 points in two games, in the first game with Afghanistan Bangla tigers played really well and registered their first win with 6 wickets. Bangladesh may look weak in the papers but at this stage of cricket no team is weak and strong. All 10 teams have qualified for this tournament and are fighting to win this cup so judging any team before the game is not right. Both teams are fully packed with great batters and all rounders so it will be interesting to see which batsman is going to stand out among these and make their team dominate the other. New Zealand’s batting lineup is good. It has many batters who can score at any ground but today they are playing at a turning surface so it is going to be hard for both teams to score much. Bangladeshi batters are also looking strong in this tournament, so it will be delight to watch batters handling this bowler’s friendly surface to score for their team. New Zealand’s fatal opener is going to be a strong hand playing in this condition because he is playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL and MA Chidambaram stadium is CSK’s home ground. Devon has played most 8 games at this venue and scored 390 runs with the average of 65 which is the highest runs for him at any ground in IPL. Devon loves to bat at this ground, he has been a consistent performer for CSK and along with this currently he is in great form, he scored 152 in the first game and looked in great touch in the second game too. Watching him bat is like heaven for the eyes. He could be the stand out batter among everyone in today’s game.

Bangladesh’s opener is in great form, in the last game he made 76 against England’s world class bowling attack, he always looks in great touch and gives his team an aggressive start. Shakib shows a lot of trust in him while batting and he always carry forward his captain’s  hope with himself. Litton is a good reader of turning deliveries. Das also has a good experience playing in Asian conditions so he could be the highest run scorer for their team.

A sensational player who comes from Indian soil has become an overnight star after his wonderful inning against England. His all round performance leaves everybody in shock. He is playing good cricket from last month and after getting a chance to come up the order he turned out to be an excellent batter and it became an icing on the cake for his team. As an all rounder he has made 174 runs in two games in this tournament with one century and one half century. Being an Indian origin player he has a strong hand in playing this condition and also being an spin bowler it will help him to understand the conditions of the game.
