The former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi revealed some shocking stuff in his recent interview given on Pakistan media channel of Samaa TV, Afridi said in the conversation that her daughter was probably waving the Indian flag during the game between India and Pakistan which happened in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022.
India and Pakistan both the teams contest against each other two times in this edition of Asia Cup, in the group stage match India beat Pakistan by 5-wickets and in the crucial stage of (Super 4) Pakistan handed the brutal defeat to the Indian side by 5-wickets, but still these two teams were expected to meet in the finals of the championship but surprisingly Sri-Lanka contested against Pakistan in the grand finale.

Unfortunately due to poor fielding and batting effort Babar Azam leading side got defeated by the young team of the Dasun Shanaka with a big margin of 23 runs and the Sri Lankan site registered their 6th title of Asia Cup on Sunday. So while interacting with Samaa TV, popular news channel of Pakistan, Shahid Afridi said, “My wife told me that there were barely 10% Pakistani fans in the stadium and the rest were Indian fans. Pakistani flags were not available there, so my younger daughter was waving the Indian flag”.
