The Pakistan captain Babar Azam reminded the wiki-batter ‘Mohammad Rizwan’ that he is the captain of the team, after Rizwan took the decision of DRS by himself without even asking the skipper at least one time, in the crucial and last match of the (Super4) qualification stage in Asia Cup 2022, Sri Lanka and Pakistan competed against each other to established their dominance for the grand finale of the tournament which will be played on Sunday. But in between Mohammad Rizwan did a cheeky stuff which left the skipper of Pakistan in shock.
In the 16th over Hasan Ali bowled a Jafa delivery to Sri Lankan set opener Pathum Nissanka which eventually beat his bat and went on to the gloves of Mohammad Rizwan and he directly sent it upstairs without asking the Skipper. After this when Babar Azam walked into the circle he loudly said, “Mai Kaptaan hoon” (I am the captain).
After which Mohammed Rizwan convinced him regarding his decision but later as after a few seconds the ultra edge didn’t show any movement when the ball passed away the bat then Babar Azam got so sad with the loss of one review at such a crucial stage of the game. At the last Nissanka remained unbeaten after scoring a gritty fifty and he helped Sri Lankan team to win the game by 5 wickets with 3 overs to spare in the match.
