
The star finisher of Indian team Suresh Raina announced retirement from all formats of the cricket which left his fans and followers along with the whole cricket fraternity in grief. Suresh Raina was one of the heroes who scripted the history for Indian team in the 2011 world cup, he played many majestic knocks in his whole International career that helped the Indian cricket team to clinch victories on several occasions.
Suresh Raina was an important part of the side in the 2007 World Cup, 2011 50-over world cup, 2013 Champions Trophy and 2014 T20 World Cup. In the context of IPL, he remained the part of Chennai Super Kings for 14 years and helped the side to achieve victories in the season of 2010, 2011 and 2018.
For more than 10 years MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina played integral roles as a finisher player of the Indian cricket team and also in the IPL franchise of CSK. In the 2011 world cup which was the most important moment in Indian cricket history, Suresh Raina played a match winning knock against Australia in the semi finals of the tournament which had eventually pushed the Indian side in the finals of the tournament.
After the declaration of retirement from Suresh Raina, his many fans and followers paid tribute to him, along with the big personalities from Indian cricket fraternity also gave farewell messages to Raina and wished him for his future which will be outside from the world of cricket.
