After its debut season in 2008, it has grown in popularity to the point where players from all around the world compete for a chance to play in the IPL. As a result, it has produced some mind-blowing players with outstanding abilities. Though auctions are performed each year to pick players for the current eight clubs, each team has a few favourite players who have been with them for numerous seasons. Virat Kohli

He is well known as the “Cool Captain,” and he is ranked second on this list. Apart from 2016-17, when he played for Rising Pune Supergiants because CSK was banned at the time, Dhoni has always worn the Yellow shirt. CSK has won the IPL title five times under his guidance, making him the most successful captain in IPL history.
Kieron Pollard
Kieron Pollard, a Caribbean player, comes next. He is a fantastic all-rounder who has been with the MI club since 2010. He has appeared in 187 times for MI.
Rohit Sharma
The current Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, is next on this list. After joining the MI in 2011, he has frequently led it into qualifying. He has so far played 177 matches for it.
Suresh Raina
Moving on to Suresh Raina, who has worn the yellow jersey numerous times. While playing with CSK, he appeared in 176 matches.

Harbhajan Singh
Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian spinner, is ranked seventh. During the IPL season, he has played for three teams: KKR, MI, and CSK; nonetheless, he has played the most matches for MI, 136.
Ambati Rayudu
Ambati Raydu comes in seventh place. He has played roughly 190 matches for a few clubs in total, although he has largely played for MI in the IPL, including 114 matches.
Robin Uthappa
Former Indian wicket-keeper Robin Uthappa ranks eighth on this list. He has played for six IPL clubs in total, although he has played the most matches for KKR, with 86.
Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan, India’s preferred opener, is the final name on this list. He has always been a notable player, scoring numerous runs. As a result, he has appeared in 206 IPL matches. Despite this, he has appeared in the most games for SRH.
