
The ICC World Cup 2023 will be staged in ten different cities across India from October 5 to November 19. Nine sites will host five matches apiece, with one hosting three of the 48 games.
Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata will be the ten World Cup host cities. Hyderabad will host three matches, while the remaining nine cities will each host five.
The showpiece tournament opener on October 5 and the final on November 19 will be held at the world’s largest cricket venue, Narendra Modi venue in Ahmedabad, formerly known as the Motera.
The big tournament will take place over the course of 46 days, with 10 teams competing for the coveted crown. In the group stage, each team plays the other nine teams in a round robin format, with the top four qualifying for the semi-finals on November 15 and 16.
