Dhoni acted in a Bollywood film, did you know? Dhoni was invited to appear in a film in the 2010s. In 2010, the cricketing icon decided to appear in Hook Ya Crook’s film. The film, directed by David Dhawan, starred John Abraham in the lead role, with Kay Kay Menon and Genelia D’Souza.

Hook Ya Crook is a cricket-themed film. The film tells the narrative of a young boy who aspires to play for the Indian cricket team. However, his dream is dashed when he is imprisoned for his disruptive attitude.

Hook Ya Crook, sadly, remains unreleased. MS Dhoni’s name is still listed as one of the film’s actors on the IMDb website.

In his biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, late Sushant Singh Rajput portrayed Dhoni. Sushant complemented Dhoni and called him a good performer during one of the promotions.

India won the World Cup in 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. He also won the T20 World Cup for India in 2007, as well as the Champions League in 2010 and 2014.
