In a last over thriller encounter between India and Pakistan, the Rohit Sharma leading Indian side won the match by 5 wickets and two balls to left while chasing the total of 148-runs, where in the batting department Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja played the key role with the bat to pulled out Indian side from highly pressured situation when the top 3 batter of India fell on just a score of 50 odd runs.
After winning the toss the Indian captain Rohit Sharma elected to bowl first as the surface of Sharjah cricket ground, seemed to be good to help fast bowlers initially, and this decision proved top notch as the Indian seamers ripped through the batting lineup of Pakistan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya were the stars in the first innings who wrapped 4 and 3 wickets respectively in their spell.
Pakistan side could only make 147-runs after losing all their 10 wickets in the first innings and later as Indian team walked in two bat Naseem Shah, the young Pacer of Pakistan gave the dent in the very second ball of his over as KL Rahul got dragged on.

Later, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were also hunted by the left arm spinner Mohammed Nawaz and the set partnership of Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya took the side close to the victory, but later Jadeja got bowled in the last over of the innings delivered by Mohammad Nawaz.
Further on the fourth ball of 20th over Hardik Pandya slammed a big six to finish off the proceedings for Indian team and finally India registered victory by 5-wickets in the nail biting match where Pakistan also had substantial chances to win the game.
