Players Who Haven’t Arrived In India For The IPL 2026: As of now, several foreign players have not arrived in India to play for their franchises at the 2026 IPL season. It has now been 10 or more days since the IPL started.

At the time that Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians were playing match 13 of the sponsors at the 2026 IPL, teams such as Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals appear to have good form. However, teams such as Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Kolkata Knight Riders have not won any games as of this writing.

Lockie Ferguson – Punjab Kings

Lockie Ferguson is a quick bowler from New Zealand who welcomed the birth of his child last week, so he will be missing the first few games of the 2026 IPL season due to family commitments. Ferguson has not made it to India.

Will Jacks – Mumbai Indians

Will Jacks, all-rounder for the Mumbai Indians, has not yet arrived in India. Reason for his absence has not been disclosed by MI. While at the T20 WC, Jacks was awarded “Player of the Match” in four different games whilst playing with the English side.

Nuwan Thushara – Royal Challengers Bangalore

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has denied a NOC to Thushara to play in the IPL. He has filed a case against this decision in court. It is noteworthy that Thushara doesn’t have any injuries, but, as per the Sri Lanka Board, he cannot be given a NOC since he doesn’t fulfill the fitness criteria.

Josh Inglis – Lucknow Super Giants

Josh Inglis has been bought by the Lucknow Super Giants at ₹8.6 crore in the 2026 IPL auction. As yet, he hasn’t come to India because he got married.

Mitchell Starc – Delhi Capitals

Mitchell Starc, an Australian pace bowler, has been picked up by the Delhi Capitals as part of their squad but is currently recuperating from shoulder and elbow injuries which means unfortunately for both he and Capitals, he has not been able to travel to India yet. However, so far it does not appear to be having a major effect on the Delhi Capitals.
