The Hundred League Format

Conducted by Wales Cricket Board, the ongoing 2024 edition is the fourth season of The Hundred. A total of 8 teams are participating in the league. This format is slightly different from the T20 format, as only a total of 100 balls are bowled in each innings. The bowlers are allowed to deliver either 5 or 10 balls consecutively and each bowler can only bowl up to 20 balls.

Sides are switched after every 10 balls; a 25-ball power play is allotted for each team, in which only two fielders are allowed outside the 30-yard circle. No balls are worthy of 2 runs and a free hit. Each team gets a 2.5-minute strategic timeout during their bowling.
