In the recently held edition of IPL 2022 many teams performed exceptionally in the tournament, while few sides couldn’t cope up with the standards they set for the whole tournament. The franchises like Kolkata knight Riders and Punjab kings consistently failed from the last couple of season three to show off their positive approach and gameplay in the whole edition.
So after witnessing the situation one thing might be predicted that in the next season few teams could fire their captains and bring in the new leadership faces.
#1. Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Punjab Kings went with the flamboyant leadership skills of Mayank Agarwal from the last couple of seasons and finally they could make a change in the leadership by removing Agarwal as their captain. In the recent edition Punjab couldn’t even qualify for the playoffs in spite of picking one of the best teams in the mega auction of the season. So one of the new young players like Liam Livingston, Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh might be appointed as the new skipper of the team for next couple of seasons.
#2. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
KKR would be the second team who might fire Shreya Iyer as the captain of the side, though they appointed Iyer in the last edition of IPL and formally they have to go with him for at least next two editions, but logically the skills of leadership which Iyer showed in the last season was absolutely bizarre. So the CEO Venky Mysore and other think tank would make this move to contain the further damage to the side.
#3. Delhi Capitals (DC)
The flamboyant Indian cricketer Rishabh pant sticked from the last four seasons as the captain of Delhi capitals, but instead the 13th edition of IPL which happen in the year 2020, Pant didn’t produce any significant achievement in the context of his leadership for the team. In the year 2020 Delhi capital was unfortunately knocked out by KKR after being performed exceptional in the whole season. So the case of consecutive failures is associated with pant which might resulted in his dismissal from the leadership of Delhi capitals.
#4. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
The prime reason of consistent failing could even force the stable think tank of Sunrisers Hyderabad to fire the skipper Kane Williamson who is also not even in the good touch as far as concerned of his batting. In the recently happened edition of IPL Sunrisers Hyderabad was on a roller coaster ride, after getting defeated in first two games they won one next five matches consecutively, and later they again lost next seven matches without any interruption.
