3 Times when ‘MS Dhoni’ proved that he’s the coolest captain of the World

The former Indian captain MS Dhoni was known for his cool head in world cricket, when he used to play for the Indian team he is among the best captains which registered their name in the golden book of cricket. After MS Dhoni only Ricky Ponting is the guy who is well ahead of him in terms of significant achievements for his side. In the IPL it is the only man MS Dhoni who made a major contribution in carving the Chennai Super Kings as the most eminent franchise of the whole tournament whom even the overseas cricket folks know very well.

#1. 2011 World Cup Final.

In the 2011 world cup MS Dhoni had the major contribution to get the trophy in the pocket of the Indian team, in the second innings while team India was chasing the total of 275-runs the two openers Virendra Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar fell very early. From there MS Dhoni came out to bat at top order and stitched the fabulous partnership with the opener Gautam Gambhir and finished the game in style by hitting big six on long on over the ball of Nuwan Kulasekara. 

 

#2. 2013 Champions Trophy Final.

In the final of 2013 Champions trophy in which India was the champion, MS Dhoni bowled out on a score of zero but still no one could have imagined that India would defend a small total of 130 runs in the luxury of 20 overs for England. In the first innings due to poor batting team India scored only 129/7, but later the bowling rotation and the field placement of MS Dhoni had the big hand in successfully restricting the side of England just six runs before the target.
