
India beat Sri Lanka 3-0 in the T20 International series hosted by the island nation. The third T20 match reached a thrilling super-over in which the Men in Blue reigned supreme over Sri Lanka.
After a scintillating T20 series, new Team India head coach would be over-the-moon to welcome star players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Arshdeep Singh to the squad for the IND vs SL ODI series.
India will face Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series, starting with the 1st ODI on August 2. The first game of the series will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Rohit Sharma (India)
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma would undoubtedly be the biggest centre of attraction in the IND vs SL ODI series as he would take to the field for the first time after winning the T20 World Cup 2024. Mohammad Siraj (India)
Indian pace bowler Mohammed Siraj has proved to be arch nemesis for Sri Lanka. He has taken 19 ODI wickets against Sri Lanka which is his highest number versus any country. He has bowled at an impressive economy of 3.50 and average 7.68 in the six ODI matches he played against Sri Lanka including seven maidens. He made a record by picking six wickets against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 final.
Nishan Madushka (Sri Lanka)
Promising young batter Nishan Madushka will be a player to watch out for in the IND vs SL ODI series as he will be making his debut in the 50-over format. The 24-year-old has had impressive Test performances averaging at 42.07 with a double century in eight Test matches. Madushka will now be looking to make his mark in the ODI format.
