The veteran Zimbabwe batsman Sikandar Raza who scored a match winning century against India in the third one day international, could prove as the best overseas pick for the IPL teams in the next auction. In the third ODI where Zimbabwe lost all their hopes to win the game, Sikandar Raza played a surprising innings in the middle and definitely could have surpassed the target if the batsman on non-striker’s end sustained their wicket.
He scored a fantastic three figure knock of 115(95), and finally got dismissed by Shardul Thakur. But at one point of time the victory for Zimbabwe was almost secured by him.
So as usual the player who performed exceptionally at the international stage is intrinsically targeted by several IPL franchises. So here are the three teams which could run behind Sikandar Raza in the auction of IPL 2023.

#1. Rajasthan Royals (RR).
The Sanju Samson leading franchise of Rajasthan Royal could put themself in a race for picking up Sikandar Raza in the 16th IPL edition, the only reason which stayed behind it is the weak finishing order of the side. Raza is basically lower middle order batter who could provide decent swing bowling option so Rajasthan Royals have the deficiency of both which makes it the first side that has the most chances to pick up Sikandar Raza in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League.

KKR also have similar circumstances when it comes to the position of lower middle order, the form of Andre Russell and Sam Billings stayed always low when it came to crucial games in the last season, so a consistent guy should be there to provide a decent assistant with the bat and the bowl.
The CEO Venky Mysore also recently mentioned about the weak link middle order of the team and the requisite to modify it, so the think tank of this franchise might be pondering over the selection of Sikandar Raza for their next edition of IPL.
#3. Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Franchise of Punjab Kings always stays in a hunt for picking up the young and unique talent of the International Circuit, like in the previous mega auction of IPL, Punjab spent around 12 crore rupees for purchasing the novel English talent Liam Livingston.
So, Sikandar Raza would get an expected Bid from the side of Punjab and as the management of Punjab always keep themselves ready to spend million dollars on any substantial talent, so Raza can even be opted out in crores.
